Double the boys, double the trouble, double the fun. The handsome Patchett brothers couldn’t be any cuter. This shoot was so much fun, I wanted to jump right in there with them. We didn’t need many props or fancy backdrops for this session because the boys were already so full of life—they brought the fun with them.
A Truly Gorgeous Group
First, we did a few family portraits. Despite the exhaustion I’m sure Mom and Dad must feel from chasing these two silly guys around all day, they were brimming with joy and love. They could not contain the adoration that they have for their boys, and I loved capturing it. Being the active little guys that they are, the brothers were not too sure about being held while I snapped some pictures—posing was not really their thing, and their skeptical faces made me laugh.
As soon as we put them down to explore the studio, they warmed up and started giving us some hilariously genuine expressions, revealing their true personalities. Their favorite thing was the barrel prop that I used for the rustic look. As they climbed on it and beat it like a drum, I captured them in their element.
Bright Baby Blues
The boys are very photogenic with the most handsome bright blue eyes. And Mom and Dad did a great job of picking outfits that matched their eyes and coordinated with each other without matching too much. The light-colored plaid looked so cute against the deep browns of the wood. These photos are classics that can be used in frames, photo albums, invitations, or phone backgrounds. Who wouldn’t want to see these cuties’ faces wherever they go?!—they would brighten my day for sure!
Oh my heart! Just look at these two. I just love being a Glenview Deerfield Chicago North Shore Baby Photographer!
